HEADLINES FROM THE PROVINCIAL NDP

6 Commitments you can count on from the Ontario NDP:
- Howard Hampton's NDP will provide a health tax rebate of up to $450 per person and $900 per two-income family.

- Put people's jobs first, immediately raise the minimum wage to $10 an hour and roll back Dalton McGuinty's extravagant $40,000 pay raise.

- We'll protect children's health and environment by establishing a Right-toKnow law that ensures families know what toxins and other environmental hazards are in our food, air ground and water.

- We will make sure all kids get the education they deserve. Ontario's NDP will stop forcing parents to raise money for school essentials.  And we'll provide the resources needed by children with autism and special needs - children betrayed by DaltWe on McGuinty.

- We will remove barriers to university, college and training by rolling back post-secondary tuition fees to pre-McGuinty levels and then freeze them and we will eliminate classroom fees for apprenticeships, saving $400 on average.

- We will reduce hospital waits. Ontario's NDP will take the pressure off the hospitals, ERs, and family caregives by expanding home care and guaranteeing a daily 3.5 hours of personal care in long-term care homes.
